Posh

What is the origin of the word POSH?!

Well the word posh it has been used for a long time . People find it hard to know from where it has came , according to Oxford Dictionaries'The story goes that the more well-to-do passengers on ships travelling between England and India used to have POSH written against their bookings, standing for 'Port Out, Starboard Home' (indicating the more desirable cabins, on the shady side of the ship)'

Business management

·         What do you think went well?

·         What could you do better next time?

·         Where did you get the information from?

·         Did you have any difficulty getting information?

·         What are you looking forward to about studying your subject?

·         What are you not looking forward to?

·         What questions do you still have about your subject that you need answered?

Well I believe I gave overview about my subject to everybody and made them understand what I will be doing next year, but on the other hand , I feel that I did not give enough information and it was a bit short which I have to make sure next time it won’t be short… I took my information from the university website and I was so easy and I’m really grateful for it as they make it easy for the students to know about the subject that they would be studying. One of the things I am looking forward is that I am going to learn more about it as it is an excited subject. However there are few thing I’m not really looking forward to like exams and essay as I will be doing a lot of them and it seems a hard work. I do not think so as I believe in know everything.

What is culture?

My definition;

                                Culture is the traditional way that people dress or cellaret and the food and the way of behaviours and act as well. In every country got different culture then the others and the way of living. Which is makes them different. In my point of view culture is very important because the way that our old families used to live, if we don’t fallow our culture then we would forget who we were. Such as Romans never been forgotten because still people fallow their culture which is amazing

CARLA’s Definition:

                                                     Well I strongly agree with what they said it is a bit smaller to my own culture, and I believe it is almost the same in other countries. People act and behaviour and think in different ways then people from other culture. Overall we learn our culture as we are growing up.

CARA’s (2013)  stats that “For the purposes of the Intercultural Studies Project, culture is defined as the shared patterns of behaviors and interactions, cognitive constructs, and affective understanding that are learned through a process of socialization. These shared patterns identify the members of a culture group while also distinguishing those of another group.

Well I believe that taking g part is more important and you just enjoy yourself even though you lost you still have a good time.  I think so I’m a good loser, I don’t really care if I lose or win I play sport to enjoy myself and have a fab time. However sometime I get anger when I lose if the team I played against cheated that would annoy me.
